Old Station Railway Carriages

Three self catering railway carriage conversions at a former station

Picture
Perfect for railway fans, train spotters or anyone who just wants to stay somewhere that's really distinctive, this unique accommodation provides an excellent base from which to explore North Yorkshire’s countryside, coast and attractions.

These former railway carriages have been carefully and cleverly renovated to provide self-catering accommodation. The carriages stand in train formation but are not interconnected. You book a self contained carriage providing kitchen/diner, lounge, 2 or 3 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. There are two acres of grounds providing space for children to play, with open countryside beyond.

Allerston is situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest, just 12 miles from the coast. The attractive market town of Pickering, home of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, is just 5 miles away.
