A traditional shepherd's hut on a working hill farm in Bilsdale

Picture
The Shepherds Hut is on a working hill farm with sheep and cattle. It has picturesque views of east Bilsdale's countryside and its stone walls, offering a great base from which to explore the North York Moors National Park.
The Shepherds Hut is tucked away in a secluded position. There is only one hut so guests have complete privacy.

The hut is built traditionally by a local craftsman from wood, much of which is Oak. It is well insulated so guests can stay comfortably all year round. The Shepherd’s Hut has a comfortable double bed, a wood burner for heating and a seating area with a table inside. The door leads to an outdoor seating area with a BBQ and parking space.

Literally one step away, an internal door leads from inside the hut into your own personal and fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchenette has a fridge, kettle, toaster, hob, microwave, pots, pans and crockery, enabling guests to self-cater. If you're looking for an escape in a rural idyll, this is the place for you! In spring a visit to the lambing shed can be arranged, where you can see the new born lambs.
